Three second placings have helped Dexter Dunn move into fourth in the World Driving Championships standings after day two of the competition in Canada yesterday.

Though a win still eludes both Kiwis, Dunn and fellow New Zealand representative Mark Purdon both improved their standings after yesterday's four heats.

Dunn took three second placings to move into fourth on the leaderboard from seventh after day one. Purdon managed one second placing, his first top-three finish of the series, which took him into eighth place, from 10th after day one.

Finnish driver Mika Forss leads the standings after day two, ahead of Canadian James MacDonald and Marcus Miller, of the United States.

The competition continues with five heats at Georgian Downs racetrack in Ontario today (NZ time).
