League: Marshall back for Kiwis

Kiwis captain Benji Marshall is one of four players added to the national train-on squad to prepare for the Kiwis' end-of-season international programme in October and November.

Marshall comes into the squad after Wests Tigers were eliminated from the NRL title race by the Warriors last Friday night.

St George Illawarra winger Jason Nightingale and utility Nathan Fien have been added following the Dragons' loss to Brisbane in their semifinal last Saturday night and also joining the squad is Newcastle centre Junior Sa'u.

The Kiwis begin their international programme with a test against the Cook Islands in Rarotonga on October 6 before taking on Australia in Newcastle on October 16. Stephen Kearney's side then head to the UK to contest the Four Nations.
