The central defender, capped by New Zealand this year despite being born in Sydney, was named the Phoenix's player of the year for a second time to deny Brockie a clean sweep of the major awards.
The 30-year-old, who also won the award in 2010, presided over a tumultuous season for the Wellington side, in which foundation coach Ricki Herbert was dumped and the club finished bottom of the A-League.
Brockie, who scored 16 goals this season, won players' player of the year to go with his Golden Boot award.
Louis Fenton, 20, was under-23 player of the year.
