The sold-out sign went out on Friday - now it is up to Dunedin's weather to deliver.

The Black Caps trail England 2-1 in the five-game series and must win tomorrow's one-day international at the University Oval to keep the series alive.

They will have plenty of support from the sidelines. Capacity has been increased from 4500 to 5500 with the addition of some temporary seating.

The forecast is for a fine morning with a chance of showers in the afternoon.

Dunedin Venues Management Ltd chief executive Terry Davies said he was doing a ``sun dance'' and was quite confident ``the weather will be OK''.

He was thrilled both games at the University Oval this summer had been sold out.

``When you can announce two sell-outs it is a good message to New Zealand Cricket and it augurs well for the future.''

Davies said if the game is washed out ticket holders will be entitled to a refund.

Both teams abandoned outdoor training yesterday. The Black Caps headed indoors for a gym session, while it is understood some of the England players flew to Queenstown to play golf.
