The Otago Volts have been denied the third and final playoff spot in the men’s Super Smash.
The Canterbury Kings (175 for seven) beat the Northern Knights (119 for nine) by 56 runs last night to equal the Volts on 18 points — but pushed Otago out of third spot due to a superior run rate.
