The New Zealand women's cricket team could not mark Sara McGlashan's 100th one-day international in style in England overnight, slumping to a 32-run defeat by India to finish fourth in a quadrangular tournament.
After dismissing India for 150 at Aston Rowant, the White Ferns' batting again let them down to be bowled out for 118 in the 41st over.
McGlashan made 22 in her milestone match, but apart from captain Aimee Watkins' 32 and a painstaking unbeaten 20 off 90 balls from Katey Martin there was little substance to their reply.
Opening bowler Amita Sharma and left-arm spinner Ekta Bisht took three wickets each to be the best of the Indian attack.
Earlier, Kate Broadmore took three for 33 from her 10 overs to help bowl out India with 21 balls left in their innings. Broadmore took the first three wickets to fall, including that of top-scorer Poonam Raut for 38, after New Zealand won the toss an choose to field first.
The fourth-placed finish matches their finish in the quadrangular Twenty20 tournament last month.
