Wellington Blaze leg-spinner Deanna Doughty is the new face named in the White Ferns squad for its tour of Australia next month.
She will be joined by Central Hinds all-rounder Jess Watkin, who has been recalled after having last played in 2018.
Amy Satterthwaite will also make her return to the side and will strengthen the top-order batting for the three one-day internationals and three twenty20 internationals.
Otago’s Katey Martin, Suzie Bates and Hayley Jensen have retained their spots.
Satterthwaite was on leave while she started a family with partner and team-mate Lea Tahuhu.
All matches are to be played at Allan Border Field in Brisbane. The team will observe strict isolation protocols on arrival in Australia and upon its return.
Former Otago player Leigh Kasperek is in the United Kingdom and was unavailable for selection due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, while Anna Peterson was unavailable for selection due to personal reasons.
The team departs on September 9.
