Harbour lives up to high hoops

Harbour A won the men's final 78-73 on the back of a 38 points-15 rebound night from the tournament's most valuable player, Sam Mennenga.

In the women's final, Harbour mounted a second-half comeback and edged ahead with two minutes remaining to clinch a 63-61 win. Emilia Shearer had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Harbour and was named tournament MVP.

Otago's Mitchell Hughan was named in the men's tournament team, after a sixth-place finish. North Otago finished 12th in the 16-team men's competition, while Otago ended in the bottom three of the women's competition.
