Owner Allan Dippie said the lease for the business, in The Basecamp complex on Cardrona Road, had come to an end and the building would be redeveloped.
The other two businesses within the Complex, Rubys Cinema and Base Camp climbing centre will not be affected by the re-development, Mr Dippie said.
Wanaka Lone Star's last day of trading will be on September 26.
