Snow hits spot

As this view of Lake Wanaka shows, yesterday’s  predicted polar blast did not bring snow to low levels in  Upper Clutha, but it did strike all the right places — the mountain tops and in particularly the skifields.

MetService predicts more snow showers for the Wanaka region today  and a fine, clear day tomorrow.
