Council general manager community services Thunes Cloete said that an online survey would be available and three community drop-in sessions would be held this month which council representatives would attend to discuss the proposed features and hear community feedback.
He said possible features in the concept plan were designed to adhere to the lakefront development plan's "four big moves" defined through community consultation in 2016, and included the option for 300m of native revegetation planting along the edge of the lake.
The lakeside stage runs from where Bullock Creek meets Lake Wanaka, along the edge of Lakeside Rd and through to the marina.
"This is an ever-increasingly popular part of the lakefront, and public feedback as early as possible will help us deliver the best possible outcome for Wanaka's community," Dr Cloete said.
