Development under way

Construction of 42 private residences on the slopes behind the $80 million Glendhu Championship Golf Course development, near Wānaka, is to start soon. It was recently reported that the golf course, which is being designed and built by Darby Partners, which developed other courses in the area, including Jack’s Point, The Hills and Millbrook, is also about to begin building a restaurant as part of the development.  A golf clubhouse and 24-room visitor accommodation will also be developed on the lakefront. 

The golf course is set to open late next year.
