A 27-year-old woman was admitted to Southland Hospital with stab wounds after a serious assault at a Te Anau bar early this morning.
Senior Sergeant Darryl Lenane, of the Southern District Command Centre, said a 40-year-old Te Anau woman has been arrested in relation to the assault.
She will appear in Invercargill District Court tomorrow.
Invercargill CIB are investigating.
