Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash after a motorcycle hit a property in Invercargill yesterday afternoon.
A St John spokesman said one female was taken to Southland Hospital in a serious condition.
A police spokeswoman said it received a report of the incident from St John at 3.17pm and that WorkSafe had been notified.
The crash occurred on Mill Rd between East Rd and Langshaw Rd.
A reporter at the scene said the property was down a private driveway.
