A woman has been taken by helicopter to Dunedin Hospital this evening after a crash near Balclutha where a vehicle overturned.
A police spokeswoman said police were called to a person trapped in a car on it's roof in Old Port Rd between Freezing Works Rd and Shaws Track about 8.30pm.
A helicopter was dispatched from Dunedin and Fire and St John's also attended.
The spokeswoman said the woman had moderate injuries.
