A 49-year-old man was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital in a serious condition after a quad bike accident in the Clutha district this evening.
A police spokeswoman said emergency services were notified about the accident on a property in Summer Hill about 6.45pm.
Worksafe had been advised.
A St John spokesman said the man was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital by helicopter in a serious condition.
