A balclutha man has been charged with drink-driving after crashing into a garage early yesterday.
Sergeant Martin Bull, of Balclutha, said a 22-year-old man damaged the corner of a garage on Essex St, Balclutha, after he crashed about 7am.
• A 24-year-old Balclutha man was arrested for intentional damage and taken to hospital at 4am on Sunday.
Sgt Bull said the man had been asked to leave an address after an argument.
He had broken a window trying to get back in.
"He cut himself quite badly."
Both men will appear in the Balclutha District Court on September 20
