South Otago emergency services were called after a car crashed on to railway tracks in Clinton on Sunday evening.
A police spokeswoman confirmed they were called to the single-car crash in Main Rd, Clinton, at 9.04pm.
``The car had gone off the road and ended up on the train tracks,'' she said.
The car was later towed off the tracks.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the woman driving the vehicle, who was the sale occupant, was transported to Dunedin Hospital by an ambulance from Balclutha, with minor injuries.
