The fresh, prime, lamb leg roast goes to Kath and Jules because "They are an extremely generous couple with their time in our community," their nominator said.
"For years they’ve decorated their garden into a lovely Christmas wonderland and invited the community to walk through.
"The joy on children’s faces is amazing as they wander the fairy-light garden and dance on the disco walkway."
The Witts were also thoroughly involved with local scouts, schools, sports and Romahapa Hall activities.
"We started [their Christmas lights show] about 20 years ago and it’s grown a bit bigger every year," Mrs Witt said.
"Excited children are the real magic of Christmas and it’s a gift they come here and share with us."
