The youngsters, aged between years 2 and 8, played a two-period game with five international players on each team, coached by the national side coaches.
The game was followed by a meet-and-greet and autograph-signing session for the pupils.
It was a more playful affair for the group of New Zealand and Australian ice hockey players in action, before their Winter Games transtasman showdown last night.
The third and final match is to be played tonight.
