Arrowtown notched up its biggest score of the season, putting Owaka away 84-12, Owaka doubling its try tally for the season in the game.
Coach Simon Spark said he was impressed with Arrowtown's effort in sticking to the game plan.
"It was a good game ... We've got to be able to put those weaker teams away.
"It was hard because they had some big boys up front, when they got close to the line they were hard to stop.
Player of the day for Arrowtown was Nathan Pullar, a decision that was "fitting" given Owaka was his former club.
In Queenstown, Wakatipu eventually walked away the victor in its clash, winning 25-22.
This weekend is the final of the Central Otago round-robin games, Wakatipu to host Matakanui-Combined and Arrowtown putting up the White Horse Cup against Alexandra.
It will be the first time Arrowtown has played Alexandra in 2011 and Spark said the Bulls would not be taking the game lightly.
"I think they've improved as the season's gone on. We definitely won't be looking at their previous results for the year.
"We know it's a one-off game and anything can happen. We're taking them very seriously."
It should be the last time the White Horse Cup is contested this season, the governing rules pertaining to the cup stating it can only be contested during Central Otago round-robin games.
Kick-off for both games on Saturday is 2.45pm.
