A 37-year-old Queenstown man has been arrested after allegedly attacking someone with a machete in the resort early this morning, police say.
A Wellington-based police media adviser said the man was arrested at a house in Goldfield Heights after police were called to the property about 12.10am.
The victim was not injured.
The spokeswoman could not say if the man had been charged, or whether a weapon had been found at the property.
