Following two successful open days — last weekend and the weekend prior— it’s safe to say demand’s beating supply.
Kingston Village Ltd senior development manager Nicola Tristram says there’ve been around 1170 registrations of interest for the 25 sections available in tomorrow morning’s first release.
Sections are priced from $299,000, and range in size from 380 to 715sqm.
The 750-lot subdivision is set to triple Kingston’s population hugely — the goal is to build and grow into the existing community.
"We’re including all the essentials in the development like a primary school, convenience store, GP, pharmacy and more in the development."
Those registering interest tended to be families, first-home buyers and down-sizers — the number of teachers showing interest was also noticeable, which was expected.
"It is a broad market which is great, because then we will have a broad community."
Tristram says the subdivision is proving attractive to buyers, due to the price, views and the fact there will be wider frontages and plenty of on- and off-street parking.
"We’re lucky to have space to use, so we’re going to use it to benefit our residents and create really good design outcomes."
The first dirt in the development is expected to be turned at the end of this month.
