Ray Chalkley, of Queenstown, shows his style during the New Zealand Disc Golf (NZDG) Nationals in Paradise at the weekend.

The three-day tournament, which ended on Sunday, was won by United States champion Jeremy Koling, of California.

NZDG president Nigel Hailstone, of Auckland, said the strong international contingent, along with New Zealand's best players, resulted in a ``fantastic'' quality of play.

Competitors were awestruck by the venue, Mr Hailstone said.

``It's the most beautiful course that most have ever played.''
