Ferguson for re-election

Craig Ferguson

Broadcaster Craig Ferguson is seeking re-election as a Queenstown Lakes District councillor in this year's local body elections.

Cr Ferguson was elected to the Wakatipu ward in 2013 and has been a member of the community and services, and infrastructure committees.

He was also the councillor representative on the Glenorchy and Arthurs Point community associations.

Nominations open on July 19 and close on August 16.

Election day is October 12.

Please no more tea & biscuits, at rate payer expense, for Cr Ferguson. Six years of keeping the seat warm, is long enough. Time for a change.
