A car has hit a child in Queenstown, police say.
A police spokeswoman said police were alerted to a crash involving a car hitting a child on Douglas Street in Frankton at 5.16pm this evening.
A St John spokesman said the child was being taken to Lakes District Hospital with moderate injuries.
Emergency services are at the scene.
