Queenstown's revived summer beer festival is set to become an annual event.
About 1500 people sank a range of tasty craft beverages at Saturday’s event, on the Recreation Ground.
Organised by Chris Dickson, of Smith’s Craft Beer House, and Cargo Brewery’s Malcolm Blakey, the festival featured 16 vendors selling beer, cider and wine.
National big hitters Garage Project, 8 Wired Brewing and Renaissance mixed it with Queenstown locals such as Cargo, Smith’s, and Altitude Brewing.
Mr Dickson said: "The turnout’s been amazing, for sure.
"It’s definitely going to be an annual event."
Mr Blakey said it had been a collaborative effort from the resort’s brewing community.
"Everyone’s got involved and offered great ideas."
