Arrests over thefts from Arrowtown restaurant

Three Invercargill men have been arrested for the alleged burglary of a well-known Arrowtown restaurant on Monday evening.

Two of the men, aged 19 and 23, are expected to appear in the Queenstown District Court this afternoon.

The third man (18) will appear next Monday.

CCTV footage revealed two hooded people entering the Postmasters Residence, on Buckingham St, about 6.45pm.

The restaurant has been undergoing renovations for about three weeks, and a painter left a door ajar while leaving the premises temporarily.
