Youth Booth week of fun for young people

Young Wakatipu residents and visitors are invited to take part in a raft of fun off-piste activities with the Youth Booth next week.

The Stanley St centre is the launch pad for a "mystery tour" on Monday, July 2, from 1pm to 5pm.

Admission will be $5.

Free "chillaxing" was set for Tuesday, July 3, from 2pm to 5.30pm, in the newly refurbished centre.

The Lord of the Rings will be screened in the "movie marathon", before a sleepover at the Youth Booth on Wednesday, July 4.

Admission will be $10 and participants should bring a sleeping bag.

More free "chillaxing" will happen on Thursday, July 5, from 2pm to 5.30pm.

Young people can go tubing at the Remarkables ski area on Friday, July 6, from 10am to 4pm for $20.

Young people will design and print their own T-shirts on Monday, July 9, from noon to 5.30pm.

After more "chillaxing" on Tuesday, July 10, from 2pm to 5.30pm, the group will go paint-balling in Queenstown for $35 per person on Wednesday, July 11, from 1pm to 5.30pm.

"Chillaxing" continues on Thursday, July 12, from 2pm to 5.30pm, followed by a 10 pin bowling trip and movie session on Friday, July 13, from 1.30pm to 7pm for $15.
