"Easter Holiday Madness" for Wakatipu youth will break out over the next two weeks, starting today.
X-it and Summit youth workers Nathan Baxter, Laura Cross, Jacqui Moir and Fi Sawers have organised a variety of activities for years 7 to 10 from today until Friday, April 29.
X-it Youth Centre will open for drop-in socialising, with free access to pool, air hockey, Playstation and the internet today from 1pm to 6pm.
Tomorrow, X-it will be closed for training.
On Wednesday, from 1pm to 6pm, there will be 10-pin bowling followed by a "people's choice" movie on the big screen.
The afternoon's activities will cost $15.
The Stanley St centre is open for a free drop-in session on Thursday, from 1pm to 6pm, then closed on Good Friday until another drop-in session on Wednesday, April 27.
Participants will meet at the centre then head over to the Salvation Army kitchen for a pizza-cooking session, then a big-screen movie, on Thursday, April 28.
The activities run between 1pm and 6pm and cost $15.
Paintballing is lined up for the final session, on Friday, April 29, between 1pm and 6pm, for $40 per person.
Parent permission slips and required money were to be returned to X-it.
Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
