QLDC arts and events facilitator Jan Maxwell said the council was grateful to Wakatipu High School years 10, 11 and 12 pupils who loaned their art for the display.
The works would be on display for the next fortnight.
"It really does look amazing. I think it's a great opportunity for perhaps those who have little or no contact with our young people to see how talented and clever these members of our community are."
