Queenstown tourism operators and council representatives will provide first-hand experience of what it takes to operate sustainably at the Queenstown Memorial Hall, on November 5.
More than 100 people are expected to attend the Showcasing Sustainable Practice expo which takes place from 9am to 4pm, hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Practice, in collaboration with the Queenstown Lakes Sustainable Business Programmes.
Introductions to the expo will be made by programme partners, Otago Polytechnic, Queenstown Lakes District Council, Destination Queenstown, Queenstown Chamber of Commerce and Lake Wanaka Tourism.
The expo is free for all to attend.
