Arrowtown residents will be hoping for plenty of sunshine this week to warm up the community's outdoor pool, which will open this weekend.
Lakes Leisure Aquatics general manager Cam Sheppard said the Alpine Aqualand aquatics team would be managing the Arrowtown Memorial Pool this summer.
The pool will be open this weekend, providing temperatures stay warm this week, but will not open for the summer until December 19.
Alpine Aqualand swim memberships also included access to Arrowtown Memorial Pool, so members would be able to make the most of indoor and outdoor pools this summer.
Mr Sheppard said to celebrate the outdoor pool, which was "a fantastic part of the Arrowtown community", MoreFM pool parties would held, providing an exciting new addition this summer.
The first pool party will be held on December 19 from 4pm to 6.30pm and will include barbecues, refreshments, a resident DJ, as well as games, competitions and prizes.
