The Wellington-based singer, songwriter and entertainer of Samoan, Tongan and Ngati Porou heritage said she was looking forward to playing in Queenstown tonight
and Northburn Station, near Cromwell, tomorrow; both shows start at 7.30pm. The shows are part of her Arts on Tour New Zealand show.
''So far, the shows have been consistent, with comments from people saying they had wished that they had told more people to come,'' Kalolo said.
''There is definitely something for everyone, from soul, jazz, disco, blues and Motown.
''You are in for an honest, funny and possibly a tear-jerking night with a bit of storytelling and a whole lot of soul. Come on out, Queenstown and Cromwell - let's make a night of it.''
