Co-owner Alex Boyes said the business added an "exciting new dimension" for the group, which had been exploring options for a larger off-site venue for several years.
Mr Boyes, along with group co-owners Jan Rae-Robertson, Megan James and Martin James, said they planned to run the internally remodelled Winehouse solely as a wedding and function venue in partnership with catering company In2Food.
Renovations were expected to be completed within the next couple of months. The group owns and operates Wai Waterfront Restaurant, Finz Down Under, Bella Cucina and the Post Office Cafe.
