Young Wakatipu women will get health and beauty tips from the professionals in a new "Girls' Style Workshop", organised by X-it Youth Centre.

The workshop makes its debut tomorrow and is back on Tuesday, February 1, both days from 1pm to 6pm, as part of X-it's Summer Madness holiday programme.

The two-day workshop, held in the centre, will offer young women practical advice on deportment, hair, make-up, nails and skin care and general grooming from a Body Sanctum therapist and an ICAN Models and Talent tutor, plus one more operator to be confirmed.

Attending one workshop costs $20, or $30 for both.

X-it youth worker Fi Sawers said girls would get good advice and learn some pointers on how to look after themselves well.

"We were chatting with some of the girls in term four and they were interested in learning about those things, so we thought we would make it happen."

Interested young women can register for the workshops, or any of X-it Youth Centre's Summer Madness holiday programme activities by emailing xityouthcentre@yahoo.co.nz, or by calling 0277 105 368, or visiting the centre, in Stanley St.
