New appointments at Millbrook

Two local and experienced professionals have been added to Millbrook Resort's sales team, including one of the 2009 Top 50 finalists in The Apprentice NZ.

Julie Jolley has been appointed to the role of Wholesale and Groups sales, working in Millbrook's resort sector, and brought with her a wealth of experience from her former role as Crowne Plaza Queenstown business development manager.

Millbrook general manager David Onions said The Apprentice NZ top 50 finalists' appointment coincided with the resort's continuing success story.

"Julie has the perfect set of skills for driving sales in our hotel accommodation, golf, spa and restaurant quarters, and she has all the right credentials to continue to help establish Millbrook's presence in the national and international consumer and conference and incentive markets," he said.

Meanwhile, Queenstown property professional Julia Blanchard had been appointed a saleswoman for the Millbrook Realty Ltd Property and Membership Sales team.

Ms Blanchard brought an extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the Queenstown Lakes property sector, having previously worked for Locations Realty and Fletcher Living at Jacks Point.

Property and Development manager Ben O'Malley said Ms Blanchard was brought on board as part of the property team's changing structure due to increasing housing stock and a greater degree of project marketing required for new developments.
