Included were the Buckingham Belles, stalwarts of the festival, who performed the can-can for a crowd of about 100, and a street performer who rode a unicycle with a boy from the audience on his shoulders.
Also featured yesterday were historical walks and the play Beatle Mania '64.
Today's programme includes historical walks and street entertainment, as well as a half-day bowling tournament, a flax-weaving workshop for children and an evening with MasterChef winner Brett McGregor.
