More than $70,000 was raised during the third annual The Hills Cure Kids Open, held at Michael Hill's The Hills golf course in Arrowtown on Friday and Saturday.

Forty-six players competed in the individual stableford tournament for $20,000 of prizes donated by The Golf Warehouse.

Every player who entered the tournament went in the draw to win a trip for four to the top of The Remarkables with Over The Top Helicopter Company, which was won by Deidre McAlpine, of Auckland.

All players were also entered in a draw to win a year's membership to The Hills, worth more than $10,000.
