Always on My Mind singer Tiki Taane celebrates the release of his new album with two shows in Subculture, on Saturday, March 26, and Sunday, March 27.

The Christchurch-raised Auckland singer released bass-heavy album Into the World of Light and will perform his new dubstep and drum'n'bass originals and an acoustic set with DJ Sambora, of Shapeshifter, and guests.

• Early tickets for the former Salmonella Dub frontman's shows are available from Subculture and Quest for $20, plus a booking fee

5pm: Queenstown DJ Ben Jamin spins funk and soul classics at Dux de Lux. Free.

MONDAY
7pm: Czechomor, a cult world music band from the Czech Republic, play in the Queenstown Memorial Hall. Adult tickets $30 plus booking fee.
