Two Queenstown Volunteer Fire Brigade crews used an extractor to clear smoke from a smouldering fire at the Internet/Laundry, on Gorge Rd, reported just after 9am yesterday.
Deputy Fire Chief Terry O'Connell said a worker arriving at a neighbouring business called 111 upon seeing smoke.
It is believed the fire started around a group of computers.
Damage to the building was minimal.
