Visitors to Queenstown and Arrowtown this week will have the chance to "rave" about the area when the Tourism New Zealand Have Your Say mobile studio rolls into the Wakatipu.
The mobile studio has been travelling around the country collecting visitors' stories of their time in New Zealand and will be filming around Queenstown from today until Saturday.
On Sunday, the studio will be based in Arrowtown.
The Have Your Say concept was the next step in the What Do You Say, UK? campaign, which was launched in the United Kingdom in September.
The campaign is based on research that found word-of-mouth recommendations were among the strongest motivators for British travellers when they were thinking about a holiday in New Zealand.
While the initiative had been designed to reach the UK market, it was reaching more than just the friends and relatives of visitors from the UK.
International visitors from anywhere in the world were welcome to record a video diary.
Their diary would then be posted on the Have Your Say YouTube channel.
The mobile studio - a distinctively branded converted shipping container on the back of a flat-bed truck, complete with giant tui nest - allowed visitors to record a video rave about their New Zealand holiday.
The video diaries were emailed out immediately to friends and family.
They were then broadcast on the special Have Your Say YouTube channel.
• The Have Your Say mobile studio will be at Earnslaw Park from today until Saturday between noon and 7pm.
On Sunday, it will be in Arrowtown, behind Ramshaw Lane, from 11am to 6pm.
