Ana Paula Comerlato introduces her showcase titled "Butterflies" at the Queenstown Art Society's Cloakroom Gallery, at the public launch tomorrow at 6pm. The gallery will be open from 11am to 8pm.
The exhibition has 13 acrylic on canvas paintings of butterflies from New Zealand and her imagination, which she painted over the past 18 months.
Miss Comerlato is originally from south Brazil and has lived in Queenstown with her family for the past three years. The 20-year-old said she joined the Queenstown Art Society a few months ago.
"I feel very happy because I can show my work and I can show more and more. Most people compliment my work, so that's good."
The exhibition is open this Friday, from noon to 6pm then again on Thursday, December 9 and Friday December 10, from 11am to 5pm.
