Watching over Alzheimer's families

Out and about in Oamaru collecting money for Alzheimers North Otago’s annual appeal yesterday are "Colin’s Angels" (from left) Karen Steel, Julie Pringle, Debbie Grant, Debbie Melton, Heather Cameron and Colin Murray.

Alzheimers North Otago community educator Debbie Melton said the money raised would stay in North Otago.

Mrs Melton said the organisation was the first port of call for people or families who had a loved one affected by Alzheimer’s. She said their outfits had made them stand out — and "we are all nuts anyway".
