A man has been taken to Oamaru Hospital this morning after a vehicle crashed into a hedge at Kakanui.
A police spokeswoman said the single-vehicle crash occurred in High St, between Beach Rd and Kakanui Rd, shortly before 8.30am.
Beach Rd connects the seaside village of Kakanui to nearby Oamaru.
A St John spokesman confirmed the man was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
No further details were available.
