A homegrown New Zealand country star is hitting the road once again.

Waimate country music singer Kaylee Bell has announced her nationwide "Nights Like This Tour"starting in March next year.

It will be her second New Zealand tour after playing 17 shows earlier this year.

She will also be appearing at Rhythm & Alps in Cardrona and Homegrown in Wellington. She is also the main act at the Christmas in the Park concert in Auckland on December 9.

Bell will return to her home town for two Waimate shows at the end of March. She will play at the Civic Theatre in Invercargill on April 4 and Dunedin Town Hall the next night.

The announcement of the tour comes off the back of her being awarded the won the Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award at the 2023 Country Music Association’s International Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

The award recognises outstanding achievements by a country music artist signed outside the US.

Winning was a "pretty wild" experience, she said.

"It’s something that really took me a few days to actually reflect on and realise what had happened."

"It’s a really cool nudge to know I’m on the right journey."

As part of the nationwide tour Kaylee will be playing at the Regent Theatre in Waimate on March 30.
