New Zealand comedian Dai Henwood is worried about his upcoming gig in Oamaru - worried he might not want to leave the Steampunk capital of the country.
On September 20, the Oamaru Licensing Trust is hosting ''A night at the Bry with Dai Henwood''.
The captain of team two on TV3's 7 Days said there was something special about performing in smaller towns.
''If you put in the effort, the [shows] are chocker and everyone gets into it - it's a bit more unified.''
His opening act Justine Smith, who was best man at Henwood's wedding, is ''hilarious'' and he said anyone who had not seen her perform before was in for a treat.
What can Oamaruvians expect from his gig?
''High energy comedy with a bit of physical comedy chucked in,'' he said.
No subject was taboo - it would be positive, upbeat and cheeky with ''a hell of a lot of laughs''.
