Children sing for others around the world

Entertainer Jackie Clarke sings with a choir of 250 children  during the second night of the World Vision Kids for Kids concert at the Oamaru Opera House  last night.

Children from 12 North Otago schools prepared for the evenings for months in advance, and 900 people packed the Opera House  over  the two nights of the Kids for Kids 12-stop national tour, in its 22nd year. 

During the shows 550 North Otago children performed in support of the children of Luguru, Tanzania.

Schools taking part were: Ardgowan,  Five Forks,   Maheno,  Waitaki Valley,  Weston,  Duntroon,  Papakaio,  St Joseph’s,  Fenwick,  Oamaru North,  Oamaru Intermediate and Totara.
