The township of Hampden will be celebrating with a harvest thanksgiving service and "apple day" at the Hampden Presbyterian Church on April 10.
The apple day will feature apple-cooking demonstrations, an operating cider press producing fresh apple juice; hot roast pork and apple sandwiches, preserves, apple fritters and a continuous morning tea.
