Police inquiries into a truck crash this morning on the Lindis Pass are ongoing.
Police were called just before 7.30am after a truck crashed into a bank, a spokesman said.
The crash involved only one person, the driver, and there were no reported injuries.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand sent units from Omarama, Cromwell and Luggate, and the firefighters ended up helping with traffic control.
The police spokesman said contractors were then sent in to remove the truck.
